Follow Up Boss Integration
How rokrbox works with your Follow Up Boss account to engage your leads, log calls, and keep your CRM up to date.
What does rokrbox do?
rokrbox is a lead engagement service that calls your new leads on your behalf using trained Inside Sales Agents (ISAs). When connected to your Follow Up Boss account, rokrbox automatically:
- Syncs your new leads — When a lead enters Follow Up Boss, rokrbox picks them up for immediate outbound calling.
- Logs every call — Each call attempt and outcome appears as a note on the lead's profile in FUB, so your team always knows what happened.
- Tags leads by outcome — Leads are automatically tagged based on the call result (e.g., “rokrbox - Live Transfer”, “rokrbox - Hot Opportunity”, “rokrbox - Long Term Lead”). Use these tags to trigger Action Plans or build smart lists.
- Posts AI call summaries — For qualified conversations, rokrbox generates a detailed AI summary and pins it to the lead's profile so your agents have full context before following up.
- Keeps contact info in sync — If you update a lead's phone number or email in FUB, rokrbox picks up the change automatically.
- Respects your stop tags — Apply a designated stop tag to any lead in FUB and rokrbox will immediately remove them from active calling.
How it works
The integration is fully automated. Once connected, here's what happens behind the scenes:
- New leads added to FUB are automatically sent to rokrbox for calling (filtered by the sources and stages you choose during onboarding).
- After each call, a note is posted to the lead's FUB timeline with the call result, and the appropriate tag is applied.
- For qualified conversations (live transfers, hot leads, etc.), rokrbox also posts an AI-generated call summary as a pinned note.
- Contact info changes in FUB (phone, email) sync to rokrbox automatically.
- When you tag a lead with your configured stop tag in FUB, rokrbox stops calling that lead immediately.
rokrbox uses its own phone numbers for outbound calling — your FUB tracking numbers are not affected.
How to connect
Once your rokrbox onboarding specialist gathers your account information, connecting is simple:
- Click the authorization link provided by your onboarding specialist.
- Log in to Follow Up Boss.
- Click “Authorize” to grant rokrbox access.
That's it. rokrbox handles everything else automatically — webhooks, lead sync, and call logging are all configured for you.
What you'll see in Follow Up Boss
Once connected, you'll notice the following activity on your leads in FUB:
- Call notes on the lead timeline (e.g., “rokrbox Called Lead - Call Result: Live Transfer”).
- Tags applied to leads based on the call outcome (e.g., “rokrbox - Live Transfer”, “rokrbox - Hot Opportunity”, “rokrbox - Long Term Lead”).
- Pinned AI notes on qualified leads with a detailed summary of the conversation.
You can use rokrbox tags to trigger Action Plans, build smart lists, or set up automations within FUB.
Troubleshooting
New leads are not being called by rokrbox
Please reach out to your point of contact or support@rokrbox.com with the name of the lead that was not pulled in.
Call results are not showing up in Follow Up Boss
Please reach out to your point of contact or support@rokrbox.com with the lead name or FUB lead ID so we can investigate.
A lead is still being called after I added a stop tag
The stop tag must be spelled exactly “rokrbox - stop”. Double-check for extra spaces or typos. If the tag is correct and the lead is still being called, reach out to your rokrbox account manager.
I got an error when trying to authorize the connection
Only the FUB account owner can authorize integrations. If you're a team member or agent, ask the account owner to complete the authorization. If you are the account owner and still seeing an error, try clearing your browser cookies and clicking the authorization link again.
I want to disconnect rokrbox from my FUB account
Contact your rokrbox account manager and they will disconnect the integration. You can also revoke access from within Follow Up Boss by going to Admin > Integrations and removing rokrbox.
